This is a hot and flavorful mix that is great as a dip or as a rub for chicken, shrimp, and other meats.  Adding cheese to the dip makes a unique cheese dip.  Finally, it makes an amazing salsa that is the hit of any party:
Salsa Recipe:
1 package of Southwest Jalapeno
1 onion sliced
1 garlic bud
Diced tomatoes


Crush the garlic bud and slice the onion to liking. Add in the diced tomatoes and the package of southwest jalapeno mix. Let sit in refrigerator for an hour. You can vary the quantity of the ingredients to satisfy individual taste.

TO MAKE A PARTY DIP: Add 1 cup mayo and 1 cup sour cream with 1 package of dip mix and stir until thoroughly blended. Serve with chips, pretzels or crackers.


TO MAKE A CHEESEBALL: Mix 1 package with two 8 oz. pouches of  softened cream cheese. Put in refrigerator to harden just enough to form into a ball. Roll in crushed crackers, chips, parsley or whatever you prefer.


USE AS A DRY RUB: Rub, mix or toss up to 1 package with your preferred meat prior to grilling.
